Aruth Masrangsan

Thai pianist Aruth Masrangsan is the winner of the 1st prize and Grand Prix of the Third Piano Island Competition in Singapore.

He started his musical education when he was 13 years old and took piano lessons until he entered Pre-College program of Mahidol University at the age of 15, where he was a student of Dr. Eri Nakagawa and Prof. Rolf-Dieter Aren.

He was awarded a merit scholarship in 2017 and went on to study at Royal College of Music with Prof. Dina Parakhina with a scholarship from the Institute.

From September 2019, he became a student of Prof. Denys Proshayev, as well as a Fortepiano student of Bart van Oort and Petra Somlai at Royal Conservatoire, the Hague, with the Scholarships from Adriana Jacoba Fonds.

In 2022, he was awarded Outstanding Performance Award in the final round of NTD sixth International Piano Competition in New York, and was recently awarded Cuypers Fund Prize for the best piano presentation from the Conservatoire in 2023.

He is currently undergoing a Master degree in Classical piano with a specialization in Fortepiano.
