Juan Pablo Hinojosa
A Mexican musician with wide-ranging interests, Juan studied at the Royal College of Music of London under Dina Parakhina and Gordon Fergus- Thompson, where he was a Bechstein Scholar. He was also a recipient of the Pamela Larkin Award and the Evelyn Tarrant Scholarship.
In 2022 he was a finalist in the 1st International Piano Competition Jahrhundertwende-Gesellschaft in Heidelberg, and was a prize winner in the Brighton Springboard Festival in the years 2014 and 2013.
In addition to performing as a solo pianist, Juan has a keen interest in chamber music and other musical genres. He is a founding member of Por Lo Menos Dos, a contemporary music group based in Mexico.
He also works as a piano tuner and is currently training to be a piano technician under Finlay Fraser.
