L'eredità di Beethoven: R. Schumann

Il concerto a Villa Carlotta esplora il rapporto tra la musica di L. van Beethoven e quella di R. Schumann, suo grande ammiratore. Il pianista comasco Danilo Mascetti presenta opere dei due compositori, insieme al giovane Giorgio Colleoni, che aprirà il programma eseguendo la celebre Sonata "Patetica" di Beethoven. Verrà inoltre presentato in prima assoluta Between breaths, nuovo brano pianistico del giovane compositore svedese Zacharias Wolfe ispirato dall'opera di Beethoven.

The concert at Villa Carlotta explores the relationship between the work of L. van Beethoven and R. Schumann, a great admirer of the first. The pianist Danilo Mascetti, from Como, will perform works by both composers, and the young pianist Giorgio Colleoni will open the programme playing the famous "Pathetique" Sonata by Beethoven. "Between breaths", a new piano piece by the young Swedish composer Zacharias Wolfe inspired by Beethoven's work, will also be premiered at this event.
